This policy explains how Gap Consultants Limited (“Gap Consultants”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on gapconsult.co.uk.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include scripts and tags that help a website operate, remember choices or measure how it is used.
How we use them
We use essential cookies to operate the website and remember your privacy choices. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics 4, installed through Google Site Kit, to understand aggregate website activity such as visits, pages viewed, referral sources, device and browser type, general location and engagement. This helps us improve the website and our services.
We do not use analytics information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information. Analytics storage is denied by default for UK visitors and is enabled only after you choose to accept statistics cookies. Google may process analytics information as our service provider; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
The site also requests Google Fonts to display its typography. This can involve your browser contacting Google and sharing ordinary technical information such as your IP address and browser details.
Cookies currently used
- Consent and functional cookies (including cookies beginning
cmplz_andwp_consent_) record whether you accepted or denied categories and help communicate that choice between website components. Complianz consent choices may be retained for up to 12 months; WP Consent API choices may be retained for up to 30 days. - Google Analytics cookies (typically
_gaand_ga_<container-id>) help distinguish visits and compile website statistics. They are set only after consent and may remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent or delete them sooner. - Security and administration cookies may be used where necessary to protect and administer the website. These do not support advertising.
Your choices
When you first visit the website, you can Accept, Deny or View preferences. Denying optional cookies does not prevent you from using the main website. You can change or withdraw your choice later by using the Manage Consent control displayed on the site. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
